Our Story
EdgeWise Robotics is responsible for creating reliable, practical and forward thinking products to deskill the die-manufacturing process. Its focus is bringing the bleeding edge of robotics and artificial intelligence applications closer to the factories front line. It comes at a time where manual labour retention is at its lowest and the artisan skills for die making are non transferable and rendered a dying art.
Our Vision
Edgewise has three product lines. First is customer facing and called DieTrackRT. DieTrackRT™ is a system developed by Ontario Die International for leading leather cutters in the automotive interior trim industry.
DieTrackRT™ integrates human skill with automated tracking of performance and job parameters. Comprehensive feedback is provided to operators in real-time. The result is increased productivity and efficiency.
Technology
Third, coined AKAI (advanced kinematics artificial intelligence) is where the artificial intelligence and robotic manipulation comes in. This third machine (in stealth) takes the die from the second machine (Autobender) and emulates what the human bender would do to correct the die to within sub-millimeter precision.
